Announcing 2008 nQativ/Compu-Share User Group Meeting

The 2008 user group will be at The Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. There will be even more break out sessions and training at this user group.

Accounts Receivable Project

nQativ is developing a new Activity Accounts Receivable project. ActivAR will replace the accounts receivable package in Classic with extended the features in Activity including:

Invoice attributes for improved GL account control and receivables reporting
Enhanced receipt deposit handling
Customer form access to invoices, payments, contacts, locations, and notes
Customer groups for unlimited Customer classification and reporting
Elegant, customizable statements using Crystal Reports

Purchase Order Project

nQativ is developing a new Activity Purchase Order project. ActivPO will replace the purchase order package in Classic with extended the features in Activity including electronic purchase orders using export controls and better handling of credit card purchasing.

American Payroll Association

nQativ will be at the 2008 American Payroll Association Congress as an exhibitor. The Congress will be held at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, TX, May 13-17, 2008.

Blog Site Info

A new blog site especially for nQativ software users has been started by Dave Dahlke formally of Harris Farms. Mr. Dahlke felt that nQativ users needed a web site especially for them to discuss software issues, workarounds, problems, solutions, and anything else that would be of importance for a data entry clerk to a controller.

The site officially began in January 2007, and the web address is:

Company Name Change to nQativ

If you missed our recent user group meeting, you missed the announcement of our new company name. As we begin a new year and continue to produce new “windows-based” software applications, we have updated our company name as well.

Our name will change from “Compu-Share” to “nQativ”.

We combined two words (“intuitive” and “inquisitive”) to make a new word: nQativ (pronounced – in-CUE-a-tiv). We feel that a new name identity will help us launch our new “Activity” software applications. The names of our software applications will also take on a new look:

Note that we are staying with the general theme by leaving off the last letter (e). As we continue to update our identity we will keep you informed. Of course, with a new name comes a new logo:
